No. Roost PDF runs entirely in your browser: your files are processed on your own device and never sent to a server. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it keeps working. We only count anonymous page visits (Cloudflare Web Analytics, no cookies); your files and their contents are never sent anywhere.
›Is the cropped content deleted?
It's hidden by shrinking the page boxes, the standard way PDF crops work. Use Redact to permanently remove content.
